THE EMBLEMATIC GRAND PALAIS GETS A BRIGHT NEW LOOK!
The historic building located near the Champs-Elysées closed its doors at the end of 2020 for a major architectural renovation. During the closure, a Temporary Grand Palais will be built between the Eiffel Tower and the Military School. A project that we are delighted to introduce you to!
It is on the prestigious Champs de Mars area that the temporary monument will be installed for the next four years. It will be able to host all the unmissable events usually organised at the Grand Palais, such as the FIAC, Paris Photo, Taste of Paris and many others!
A NEW HAUTE COUTURE SETTING FOR INTERNATIONAL SHOWS
Designed with great aesthetic and architectural attention, and with the highest respect for the landscape of the Champs de Mars, the cross-shaped structure and its arches more than 20 metres high are an evocation of the Nave. "We will have wood inside, which will give the impression of being in a jewel box" describes the building's architect, Jean-Michel Wilmotte. The 10,000-square-metre structure is also fully modular, offering exhibitors endless design possibilities.
